With the transition from the Autumn/Winter wardrobes to the Spring/Summer now well under way, I’ve been looking around for some outfit inspirations and keeping an eye out for the latest trends. One particular trend I’ve been obsessing over is layering up different textures to create the ultimate look.
This blog post is in collaboration with Shores Men, who very kindly sent me their Brown Suede Bomber Jacket. Bomber Jackets took both male and female fashion by storm last year, and this trend is set to continue well into 2017. However, layering up different textures (such as suede) has become increasingly popular after high-street stores picked up on runway appearances, like LFWM. Not only this, contrasting textures adds another dimension to the look and is extremely versatile – making it super easy to style up and down!
I’ve paired the jacket with a Stone Hoodie to complement the darker brown, and create an overall earthy tone palette. To style the jacket down a bit, I’ve also matched it with my favourite Ripped Knee Spray on Skinny Jeans, as well as my new Old Skool Vans. For another way to style these Vans, check out another blog post here.
This type of wear is perfect for this time of the year, as Spring hasn’t quite arrived yet and the bad weather isn’t completely behind us.
