OOTD: Minimal Contrast

Sometimes, less is more. That was the idea behind today’s Outfit of the Day, which features some of my favourite pieces as of now.

For this outfit, I’ve tried to achieve a very simple look with a denim jacket layered above a black base – a minimal yet striking contrast. The perfect t-shirt for this outfit has to be the Regent + Newman black print tee. The 100% combed cotton material gives a super soft feel that ensures both comfort and style. I’ve been wearing it a lot recently and think it matches up perfectly in any outfit, especially this one.

My denim jacket is from Topman, and I’ve been wearing it obsessively since I bought it. It’s also a staple Spring/Summer piece so I would definitely recommend investing in one if you’re keen to stay on trend. For another look with the same jacket, check out my double denim outfit by clicking here.

For my choice of trouser, I opted for some Abercrombie denim that I bought last summer. As one of the older pairs in my wardrobe, I decided to crop and fray the hem, to achieve a modernised look that simply screams Spring/Summer. Finally, my footwear option was a no-brainier – the classic All-Star Converse in white. (Tip: keep all your white shoes clean to improve any outfit by a tenfold!)

WHAT I’M WEARING

Jacket: Blue Distressed Denim Jacket, from Topman

T-Shirt: Regent Print Black Tee, from Regent + Newman
