Top Picks: Topman Spring 2018 Collection

A few weeks ago, high-street store Topman released their Spring 2018 collection, and it features some really great pieces that have me very excited! The collection features Spring’s most anticipated trends, including laidback tailoring, relaxed bleached denim, and statement floral shirts. Here are my top picks that I’ll definitely be investing in:

This Navy Borg Harrington Jacket stood out to me straight away, as I knew it was the perfect piece for the Winter to Spring transition. The Borg material is on trend, and the navy, black and white colours work really well together in this design.

I’m a big lover of layering pieces to create some really stylish outfits, and the Navy Tipped Stripe Knitted Harrington is a perfect starting point. This would pair up really well with some black jeans, white trainers and a roll-neck layered underneath.

As I mentioned in my previous post on 2018 trends, Athleisure and Cropped Trousers are two trends that are going to be big this year. And as you can see, Topman have picked up on this by incorporating it into this amazing tracksuit pairing. I really like the contrast between the stone and dark red/blue colours, and I think it’s very appropriate for the Spring season. Better still, the stripes are in a satin texture, which I think is a great way of adding another dimension to the outfit. I would style these pieces together with a pair of white trainers, such as the Adidas Stan Smith.

These Light Wash Paint Splat jeans are the ideal trousers for Spring, and will be a refreshing update for my wardrobe following the darker palette outfits of the Winter months. They are in an original fit, meaning they have a high waist, straight-legged line, and are made from a rigid fabric. Although I also like skinny jeans, I’ve really been loving the straight-leg look, and think they’d be perfect paired with some long white socks and some high-top converse trainers.

The Navy Grid Check Cropped Trousers are a smart-casual piece that I think is perfect for the Winter season. The all-over grid check fabrication is very on trend right now, and I absolutely love a cropped hem! I would style this down with a grey hoodie and some white trainers.

The camouflage print has been huge over the last few years, and the vibrant, bold colours in this long-sleeved shirt give off the perfect earthy aesthetic for the Winter to Spring transition. I would match this with a pair of black skinny jeans, and a pair of boots.

The Navy Floral Shirt really stood out to me, and I immediately knew it was the statement piece I wanted for my Spring wardrobe. This could look great styled above a solid colour tee, or equally as good layered above a roll-neck.
